The waters of the two rivers had calmed a little but, trees and sections of the river bank continued to fall in all alonf La Torre (and were still falling in a week later when I left the lodge!).

The next day, conditions were calm enough for the guys to work to build a new port in time for the arrival of a large group of students and other tourists.
